ASHILL BEER & MUSIC FESTIVAL

Each year a dedicated team of 4 enthusiasts (Nick Morton, Nick Keen, John Parker & Gary Foster) from the village of Ashill, near Cullompton,in Devon set about organising a Beer and Music Festival to raise funds for their village hall, local events and in addition this year to make a donation to support the work of Honeylands Children's Charity in Exeter.

The event in June raised in excess of £4K and from the proceeds a donation of £1000 was made to the Charity, which supports children who have additional complex needs including autism, cerebral palsy and many physical and developmental conditions.

This superb donation will go towards the on-going running of the charity and the services it provides which include equipment, resources and support together with a Music Therapy programme and specialist developmental toy library.

The picture shows the enthusiastic villagers, organisers and Lexie Adamson 13 years, who has in the past used the facilities of Honeylands Specialist Child Assessment Centre presenting the cheque to the Chair of the charity, Les Christiansen.

A big thank you goes to the organisers, villagers, attendees, music groups and musicians who visited and played at the event and made it such a huge success for the village and Honeylands CC.
THANK YOU.

  1. Wow, all these 4 people are strongly dedicated towards organizing this annual Beer and Music Festival! I love their work and admire their contribution. I also want to organize such music fests at the local event spaces in Florida but I need a small team for that. I wonder if anyone is interested to work with me!
